The boats, all terrain vehicles, and snowmobile system database (BATS) that documents and controls vehicle registration and that tracks the vehicle (rather than the owner) during its registered life. The database is used to generate annual statistics and income figures, to monitor and analyze trends, and to support regulatory initiatives related to customer service. Both annual and seasonal data is maintained in the Customer Service and Licensing Bureau Office.
